Art Creations opened its doors in 1973 and in 1987 moved into its current location on Frazier Avenue in downtown Chattanooga in the same location as the former Little Art Shop. Owner Tony Mines renamed the building the Little Building in honor of George Little, the legendary Chattanooga artist who operated the Little Art Shop for many years.

Owner & President
From his days as a high school and college art student, Tony has been immersed in the art world. Art Creations is the legitimate heir to the legendary Little Art Shop in Chattanooga, where Tony worked as a teenager and hoped one day to own the store. When those plans didn’t work out, Tony opened Art Creations in 1973 and in 1987 moved into the same space as the original Little Art Shop at 201 Frazier Ave., where it remains today in the rechristened George Little Building. A Certified Picture Framer (CPF) and a Guild Certified Framer (GCF), Tony has 50 years of experience in the art and framing industry. Tony is proud that his business in the oldest art and frame shop in Chattanooga still owned and managed by its original founder, and is equally proud of the new Art Creations Hamilton Place. Since opening in the fall of 2011, Tony brings his staff’s famed expertise to a broad base of customers who visit Hamilton Place with the new 13,000-square-foot store.
